1. Data shows that China's cutting tool exports reached 2.5653 billion yuan in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%, while imports decreased by 2.66% year-on-year. Exports are 3.01 times the imports. Currently, there is a surge in demand for superhard material tools, with some categories growing by over 24% year-on-year, reflecting the manufacturing industry's upgraded demand for high-precision and high-durability cutting tools.

2. The China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT2025) will be held in Beijing from April 21 to 26. As one of the world's four major machine tool exhibitions, it is held every two years. This edition will adopt a two-venue model for the first time, with a total area of 310,000 square meters. The other three renowned machine tool exhibitions are: the United States Chicago International Machine Tool Exhibition (IMTS), Germany Hannover European Machine Tool Exhibition (EMO), and Japan International Machine Tool Exhibition (JIMTOF).

3. From March 11 to 13, Jintaiyang Casting Industry, in conjunction with the China Foundry Association and other institutions, held a seminar focusing on three group standards including 'Gray Cast Iron Parts for High-End Metal Cutting Machine Tools'. 5. March 13, after acquiring Schuler, a leading global pressure machine manufacturer in the automotive industry, over a decade ago, ANDRITZ renamed Schuler to Andritz Schuler. This marks a transformation from a single pressure machine manufacturer to a comprehensive solutions provider for forming and processing technologies. The renaming aims to enhance customers' recognition of the group's integrated service capabilities and accelerate its layout in fields such as new energy vehicles.

6. Recently, the Wenze LH RT series CMM won the 'First Prize of the 2025 Leading Innovation Award in Machinery Industry' for its breakthrough technological innovations and industry application value. The equipment employs air bearing technology and temperature-resistant materials to achieve high-precision measurement across the entire system. 7. International additive manufacturing giant China's BLT, a leading player in the field, provides metal mid-frame printing technology for Xiaomi's flagship model Xiaomi 16 Pro. Previously, it has supplied titanium alloy hinges for OPPO's foldable smartphones, highlighting the penetration of AM in the consumer electronics sector. Headquartered in Xi'an, China, BLT has deepened its expertise in AM and recently entered into a cooperation with US-based GoEngineer as its North American distributor, offering BLT laser powder bed fusion equipment and post-processing solutions to accelerate the implementation of localized services.

8. Recently, laser 3D printed cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy knee joint implants developed by China's Naton Bio have passed the approval of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
