Recently, CMTBA and VDW reached a consensus on the NC-Link communication protocol, promoting compatibility between China CNC systems and European equipment to reduce cross-border technical barriers.

October 8th, the MAKTEK Konya 2025 Machine Tool Exhibition opened in Konya, Turkey. As Turkey's geographical center and the heart of its metalworking industry, Konya holds a 45% share of the entire sector, with 90% of tractor parts and 100% of agricultural machinery parts originating from here. This exhibition has specially set up a 'China-Turkey Cooperation Zone' and provided facilitation services for Chinese enterprises, reflecting the local market's positive attitude toward strengthening cooperation with Chinese manufacturing.

October 9th, the global 3D printing market continues to grow, reaching $3.9 billion in scale in Q2 2025, with $1.5 billion in revenue from the metal segment (accounting for 38.5%) and $2.3 billion from non-metal segments. China's growth rate exceeds that of Europe and the United States, with demand from national defense and aerospace being the main driving forces.

October 9th, SANOU, JACK, and Huazhong CNC have reached a cooperation agreement, adopting the 'Huazhong Type 10' CNC system as the standard configuration for high-end machine tools, verifying its stability in high-precision gear processing and sewing equipment.

October 10th, a new water gel metal 3D printing method was developed. Researchers at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland developed a 'water-based gel-coated metal salt' technology. By injecting metal nanoparticles through post-processing and heat treatment, they produced ultra-dense metal materials with 20 times higher compressive strength and a shrinkage rate of only 20%. This technology can produce iron, silver, and copper lattice structures, applicable to fields such as sensors and energy storage devices.

October 12th, the 2025 Saudi Riyadh International Steel and Metalworking Machine Tool Exhibition FABEX Saudi Arabia opened. With over $6 billion invested in the Saudi steel industry, imports of metalworking equipment are being promoted. Chinese enterprises have secured large orders through the FABEX exhibition, including rolling mill equipment and precision mold machining machine tools, driven by Middle Eastern infrastructure demands, which is boosting the export of China equipment.
