Recently, Fujian HENGERDA announced that it has signed an 'Asset Purchase Agreement' with German grinding machine manufacturer SMS. According to the agreement, HENGERDA intends to acquire SMS's high-precision CNC grinding machine business in cash, and take over the related assets, specific contract rights and obligations, and relevant personnel. The transaction price is 8.5 million euros. (SMS was founded in 1995 and is a company with profound technical accumulation and core technology barriers in the innovative R&D, manufacturing of thread grinders, as well as CNC technology and thread grinder refurbishment and upgrading.)

May 15th, HGTECH announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary HGLASER intends to establish a joint venture with LUXCASEICT. The registered capital of the joint venture is 200 million yuan. Among them, HGLASER will contribute 140 million yuan and hold 70% equity; LUXCASEICT will contribute 60 million yuan and hold 30% equity.
