August 18, Guangzhou MINJIA and
China General Technology(GENERTEC) Guoce Time Grating collaborated to complete the trial production of the SMK304 internal thread grinding center. It uses Guoce Time Grating technology to achieve a repeat accuracy of 0.002mm, and is applied in scenarios such as nut processing for humanoid robots.
August 18, international metal 3D printing giant BLT partnered with Haptron Scientific. Through integrated metal 3D printed housing, they achieved high-precision sensing at the 0.05N level, applied in robot gripping systems. The project has received support from an A+ round of financing.

August 20, the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) developed an 8-axis laser 3D printing system to manufacture high-pressure stainless steel parts for wave energy generator prototypes, reducing the development cycle from 9 months to several days.
August 22, China released a new national standard for the safety of non-traditional machine tools. The scope includes integrating safety requirements for EDM, ECM, AM, and laser machining. It clarifies core indicators such as fire prevention, corrosion prevention, and explosion prevention, and will be implemented on August 1, 2026, strengthening the industry's safety baseline.
August 23, the fifth-generation landing milling and boring machine from GENERTEC QIER Machine Tool was unveiled. Its precision has been significantly improved, with the limit machining accuracy rising from 0.012mm to 0.007mm. A new thermal compensation function has been added, making it suitable for unmanned heavy metal cutting production lines. Static rigidity and machining efficiency have increased by more than 30%.
