KEDE CNC plans to launch an axial flux motor prototype in early 2026. Compared with traditional radial flux motors, it has the advantages of 'more compact structure, lighter weight, and higher power and torque output under the same volume/weight'. It can be adapted to the 'cerebellum' system of humanoid robots and thread grinders for screw threads such as processing screws.
It is expected that by early 2026, the acquisition of Coherent's materials processing tools business by Bystronic, a Swiss machine tool giant, will be completed.
