Recently, the press conference for the "2025 China Machinery Top 500" hosted by the China Machinery Industry Management Association was held in Suzhou. ZOPO Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. was selected, reflecting its technical strength and market competitiveness in the machinery equipment field.
December 9th, data from CMTBA showed that in January-September 2025, the total operating income of the entire machine tool industry reached 764.7 billion yuan, with a total profit of 24.7 billion yuan, both showing significant growth compared to the same period last year. This marks the industry's transition from an earlier adjustment phase to a stable recovery phase. This trend is driven by the pull of emerging industries such as new energy vehicles and aerospace, as well as the accelerated replacement of high-end machine tools.
December 12th, two water turbine runner five-axis machining centers and two steam turbine blade five-axis machining centers jointly developed by GENERTEC and Dongfang Electric Corporation(DEC) were successfully put into production in Shenyang. This marks the successful development of China high-end machine tools in the energy sector. Take one of the gantry-type large runner five-axis machining centers as an example: the machine tool adopts a gantry-type rotating worktable structure, with a maximum rapid traverse speed of 40 meters per minute; maximum acceleration of 0.6g, linear axis repeat positioning accuracy of 0.003 millimeters, which can meet the high-efficiency turning and milling compound processing needs of water turbine model runners and related complex parts.
December 12th, WENZEL officially launched the XP series workshop CMM. This product is specially designed for high-precision measurement needs in production sites, aiming to bring laboratory-level measurement performance directly into the workshop environment and solve the problem of traditional measuring equipment's dependence on constant temperature and humidity environments.
December 12th, Japan's Makino, a well-known machine tool manufacturer, announced that the start time of the public acquisition offer (TOB) initiated by MBK Partners will be postponed from the originally planned early December, with no specific time determined. The company explained that the main reason for the delay is the slow progress of anti-monopoly approval procedures in various countries. Previously, Japan's Nidec's tender offer was terminated after resistance from Makino. Finally, Nidec withdrew the TOB in May 2025, and MBK Partners emerged as the preferred negotiating party with a higher bid than Nidec. As a globally renowned manufacturer of high-end machine tools, Makino's products cover areas such as machining centers and EDM.
December 12th, AM Research's latest report shows that the global 3D printing market first exceeded the 4 billion US dollar mark in a single quarter in the third quarter of 2025, reaching 4.01 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 12%. Among them, metal 3D printing revenue was 1.59 billion US dollars, polymer 3D printing revenue was 2.42 billion US dollars, and 3D printing service revenue was 2.15 billion US dollars. According to the "2026 Additive Manufacturing Industry Development Status and Market Competition Pattern Analysis" report by China Research & Publishing United, the global additive manufacturing market has formed a tripartite competitive pattern of "North America-Europe-Asia-Pacific". China's additive manufacturing industry scale has achieved a 30-fold growth over ten years (from 2 billion yuan in 2015 to 63 billion yuan in 2025), becoming one of the fastest-growing markets globally.
