Recently, the Lathe Sub-branch of CMTBA, in collaboration with Luoyang XinCheng Precision, explored industry intelligent upgrading paths, launched the new BMT tool holder, and showcased innovative technologies such as noise analysis and detection, driving lathe precision up to 3-4μm.


September 1st, Huizhuan Ultrasonic Machine Tools(Conprofetech) entered the supply chain of SMIC, providing core component processing solutions for processes below 14nm.


September 2nd, a research team from the Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) , developed a new 'all-in-one' fatigue-resistant titanium alloy. By using Net Additive Manufacturing (NAMP) technology, micro-pores and coarse structures were eliminated, achieving ultra-high fatigue strength under all stress ratio conditions. This material performs excellently under complex stress patterns such as tension-compression and tension-tension, with fatigue strength comprehensively surpassing existing metal materials, laying the foundation for lightweight applications in key aerospace components (such as engine blades and landing gear).


September 2nd, Chongqing Honggang CNC introduced a CNC turning-milling-robbing-grinding composite machine tool.


September 3rd, Huazhong CNC disclosed on the interactive platform that it is developing intelligent control algorithms and executive components for humanoid robots, laying out in the field of embodied intelligent industrial robots, including dual-arm collaborative robots, with plans to launch a prototype in 2026.


September 3rd, FSW Technology pioneered the static shoulder friction stir welding technology, solving defects of traditional processes. It has a market share of over 70% in the aerospace and aviation fields, and production capacity will reach 500 sets after the second phase expansion.


September 4th, Yuhuan CNC's 'High-end CNC Grinding Machine R&D Center' construction is steadily advancing. It plans to enter the new energy vehicle parts processing market through technological upgrades to support new business growth.


September 5th, according to an industry report by CIRN, global metal cutting machine tools are accelerating transformation towards atomic-level precision (such as air static pressure spindle technology) and intelligence (digital twin, AI algorithm optimization). Quantum sensing technology may push errors into the picometer level, bringing revolutionary changes to the semiconductor and medical device fields.


September 5th, due to the growing demand for new energy vehicle drive systems, the demand for battery tray processing centers has surged, driving machining centers towards high-speed and composite development. CMTBA predicts that the new energy vehicle sector will account for more than 40% of the metal cutting machine tool market by 2030.
